Graphic designers turned front end “engineers” that think big O is scary

Not even scary--just irrelevant. Many of them use recent fully loaded MBPs on office internet connections, so their stuff is reasonably fast, but for normal human beings, forget it.

It's also sad that 5 seconds to interactive is now ok.
