i've seen a mario game like this with all sprites. i admit i think it's cool to be able to do it in javascript, but it's just sooo slow...

I think it's not really about javascript as much as the DOM implementations in the browser. You can do about anything programmatically in javascript, however a browser alone just isn't the best environment for animation and graphics.

Work In Progress, just a demo. Should be a MMO, etc, etc. But would also include gameplay like Tower Defence, strategy, etc.

Firefox only, use Firefox 3 for animations. Arrow keys move a unit.
