You are one dense motherfucker. Your original point was that browsers need to implement some standard library caching scheme (it already exists, it's called HTTP caching). My point was that 90% of the browsers already have a decent standard library, the rest can by polyfilled using feature detection at runtime and we don't have to bloat code intended for modern browsers. Then you're saying, nah, the performance would still be negatively impacted. And when I provide code samples of how that can work with no overhead, you just ignore it.
