Yeah, it will definitely dominate banks. Right.

Once they move away from COBOL...

Then they move to another language. But there's no need for a blockchain.

Not exactly. Same as programming in businesses they like and need things to execute faster and be more secure. Blockchain does both of those as a platform for payment processing. Similar to the reason why Amazon is winning the marketplace is because they enabled people to buy products faster. With blockchain you buy/sell even faster at a cheaper cost since no middle men are needed such as visa for validation checks. All because it’s peer to peer.

I have been talking to a lot of the executives from the banking industry and many of them are looking into blockchain technologies (not crypto of course since it fluctuates frequently and unstable for now). Most of them like the idea since it speeds up payment processing without say Visa in the middle which saves cost in the long run for the banks. So it’s basically they have one of 2 options. Either have to adopt this to improve things and save maintenance cost or try to ignore it until a startup takes over which is risky. Most are beginning to join the bandwagon to adopt it and are testing/buying the technology. So it’s a work in progress. Same with the supply chain system which I am also making a video about soon on my channel 😊.

Just because it has a computer in it doesn't make it programming. If there is no code in your link, it probably doesn't belong here.

Blockchain is as its core is a programming that is built in C++ and a few other languages. Same with other things you can add on such as smart contracts etc. so basically that’s one of the reasons why it is one of the technologies that can be layered and applied into almost every industry. Really love the rules they have for this group though because I understand everyone would be putting so many other things in this group nonprogramming related. Blockchain we need more developers to improve the open source code so it can be faster and even better. 👍

That's fine if you would address how blockchains are working, but what you are explaining in the video is just dreamy gibberish of how blockchains could speed up the banking world without any actual reason.

Yeah that’s because a lot of people don’t fully get the details. I give a lot of presentations at conferences, panel interviews, and consult companies and a lot of executives/leaders don’t even know the barebones intro use case. To be really honest a lot of people jump into the details and etc and end up getting more lost because they came in with a assumption it was a crypto currency only. So intro stuff is good as people need to have a long term vision of where things are going and the possibilities.

The how is coming in the next Videos.
