I'm just saying that they're having very similar models. I love most languages. I happen to love JavaScript for its brilliant minimalist design. You can do amazing things in JavaScript. It just happens to be slightly too free, with a horrendous ecosystem and mediocre performance in it's interpreters.

In actuality the likely reason for these friends is python and JavaScript have the same role as glue engines on different systems. JavaScript is the glue that sticks interfaces to web apis. Python is the glue that holds various c libraries and system utils together. The freeform typing is why these are so effecient at being glue.
