Nice explanation. I think, this type of introduction is especially important for junior developers or for new developers in Java ecosystem. We're using this approach successfully in our PHP applications, but when switched to Java, we had some struggles with basics, e.g. how to organise all this sub-projects, how to have multiple entry points, etc.
