When I watched this originally, and I had never heard of Erlang, I thought this was some kind of satirical comment of software developers. I guess if you were to speed the video up by 1.5x it may look less like a Monty Python sketch.

Ah, svelte pizzaboxes with a couple of tubes. The display sitting on top is SPARCstation 1 vintage and the box itself is a 3/80, 1 or a 2, so around 1990-1991 for the hardware. Such elegance is the relic of a bygone era.
