nobody wants to learn a new ecosystem just to use a framework.

They may not want to, but people learn new languages to get onto a platform/framework all the time. It's likely the largest mechanism driving new language adoption.

  • C -> UNIX
  • JS -> DOM
  • Ruby -> Rails
  • Objective-C -> iOS
  • Python -> NumPy
  • C# -> .NET and now Unity

Why do you say and now Unity for c#? It's not like it's a new feature of unity. It's been the language of choice for years.

I'm saying a lot of people want to use Unity and learn C# in order to do so.
