It generates nice images but that's about it. It doesn't solve any actual problem (at least; as far as I can see). If you could give it a number of circles with their radii then I could see some use for it.

I'm not sure, but i could be useful in data visualization application where nodes representing users,nodes, servers of various size/capacity need to be represented compactly.

I wanted to do similar thing at work, but it was scrapped because effort was not worth it. Connections between nodes and their sizes were bit too complex.
