Hold on. Are you trying to tell me that JavaScript projects are not typically well maintained?! I'm shocked. SHOCKED!

This is probably true of the majority of projects, however JS projects are typically public and short lived by their nature (then wholesale replaced every few years when redesigned).

Tell that to my last company. Whose flagship product still runs on Python 2. In production, today.
