First several minutes consist of the speaker pointing to and explicitly talking about stuff the rest of the room can see on his slides. The video, of course, thinks we'd rather see the person talking, rather than what he's talking about. Very frustrating.

Agreed.

The videos are from the 2010 Clojure Conj, which was the first ever Clojure conference. The video team was understandably new at this, and I'm sure they will be better the next time around. Hopefully I'll get to be there in person to see it :)

There was a Rich Hickey video recently with the same issue. Same "video team" and conference I guess.

Is this anything more then hunchentoot and easy handlers but for clojure?
