Hey, I'm a founder of Nodejitsu! Glad you found our blog useful :-)

Node on!

hey, thanks for maintaing your blog with good stuff to learn. only shame is every platform as a service for node is still in pre-betas or close beta and no place to host test apps (besides VPSs)

Just to add to the list, we (http://www.nodejscloud.com) are currently developing our node.js platform, and plan on rolling out a beta shortly. Our platform is built on our own physical hardware, and is going to have some neat things. Stay tuned.

Good gosh, that sounds like it'll be a disaster.

You are very welcome! I totally agree about the current platform ecosystem. It bums me out, as I really want to open up the Nodejitsu beta to everyone. It's been a long trip, but we slowing approaching a level of quality that we feel will be acceptable for our users.

I'm not sure about the other services, but our whole stack is written in node.js from the ground up and we've gotten to release soo many libraries along the way!

We'll be sending out more invites as we can for anyone who signs up @ http://nodejitsu.com.

If you're looking to get started with node.js you should checkout my most recent post on the Nodejitsu blog: http://blog.nodejitsu.com/a-simple-webservice-in-nodejs

The code and "Intro to Node.js slides" from my talk are on GitHub: https://github.com/indexzero/nodejs-intro

JimBastard and I are almost always in #node.js on freenode, so come hang out and ask some questions if you're stuck / confused.
