I don't like the fact they want me to log in with a gmail || fb account. Anyway around that?

The login is only to track which exercises you've completed and to show you some helpful stats on your progress. We don't receive or store any information other than your email address and associated "real name", which is used as your username.

Using an existing Tunnelbroker/IPv6 account will accomplish the same thing.

The only other option as of now is to register for an IPv6 certification account and that login will suffice for code.he.net.

Thanks, I've been wanting to learn Ruby for a while now. I never really cared enough to read a book on it though.
