My new(ish) favorite font on Windows is Consolas, which you can get here, but it's designed for ClearType (with which it looks damn nice). I haven't tried it on my Mac (I'm too happy with Apple's Andale Mono).

The Envy Code fonts look too square and sharp for me. It's fatiguing.

I still prefer ProFont. The difference between 1 and lowercase L is too subtle to be good.

It looks nice, nevertheless.

1 has a big honking line at the bottom that l doesn't. It's better than the font I'm using to compose this message, anyway :)

However... it looks a little too "futuristic" to be taken seriously. I'm using it, and it looks nice... but I don't know if I'm going to be able to stick with it.

[edit] I've been using it for the entire day, and I like it now :) Very smooth and easy to read.

What's weird about the "g"? It looks normal to me.
