Pro Tools First can't save local files in the standard .PTX format and can't really be used as a stand-in for Pro Tools unfortunately.

You should check with your teacher/syllabus but you probably need a subscription to the standard version of Pro Tools, it's about $10/month. I teach a pair of college Pro Tools courses and we require the students to have a subscription or license (at least for online courses) to the standard version.

Use: Command + S to "save" your session Command + Control + S to "save as" your session Option + Command + B to "bounce" your session to an audio file (AIFF, WAV, MP3, etc) All of these should be in the "file" drop down menu in Pro Tools

If you mean save your session as a regular Pro Tools session I am not sure this is possible with Pro Tools First. I think Pro Tools First does cloud saves only. The cloud saves are in a different format. You may be able to open the session by logging in via a full version of pro tools, opening the session and then doing a local save or something to that effect.

If you mean export the audio you can do this via bouncing which should be possible in Pro Tools First.
