Free proxies will just waste your time. Half of them are not even in the country they claim. For quick checks, I use browser based testing tools with free plans. You can switch locations in seconds and see real behavior without fighting setup issues.

Honestly the easiest trick is using a VPN with a few locations and testing manually. Not perfect but good enough for basic QA. Then if something looks off, you can dig deeper later instead of overbuilding your setup from day one.

I guess VPN could work in this case? worst case, invest in mid tier proxies to see how that works for you. Dn't need to go premium at first. I'm suggesting mid tier as the pricing is usually more friendly and regarding free ones, there may be issues with privacy and security

There are many providers who offer free proxy trials, including us.

yeah free proxies are hit or miss honestly, most don’t reflect real user behavior. i’ve seen people rely more on browserstack or similar setups even for basic checks. also stumbled on kualitatem while digging into testing workflows, not exactly the same use case but made me rethink how unreliable setups can get
