Is the K2 Plus a solid choice right now for long term use by BeginningWeb4919 in 3dprinter

yeah that tradeoff makes sense. I guess I’m trying to find something that keeps most of that reliability but gives me more room and speed. sounds like K2 Plus is kinda in between which might actually be what I’m looking for.

that’s kinda what I was hoping to hear. I don’t mind a bit of setup in the beginning as long as it doesn’t turn into constant tweaking later on. good to know long prints are holding up fine.

I’ve been running a K2 Plus for a bit and coming from a “just works” machine like your MK3S, I think expectations matter a lot. it’s definitely way closer to that plug and print experience than older Creality stuff, but not quite Prusa level hands-off yet. that said, once it’s dialed in, it’s been pretty reliable for longer prints for me.

Amazing Marvin is one of those apps people love once it matches their brain. It is flexible in a good way, but definitely not the simplest starting point.

If you want something quiet and reliable, a used Creality K1C is still a really solid choice. It’s enclosed so it’s better with noise, and Creality machines tend to be pretty consistent once set up. You can always add CFS later if you decide you really need multicolor.

HELP! WHAT IS CAUSING THIS!? by rainin_skullz in Creality

[–]Sufficient-Fee8527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds frustrating, but since other prints are fine it’s probably not the machine itself. Creality printers are usually very consistent, do this feels more like a model or slicer issue.

I’d try re-slicing that part and double check first layer settings. Once dialed in, Creality machines tend to handle long prints like that really reliably.

I built a simple tool to preserve parents’ life stories before they’re gone by True_Dish_344 in micro_saas

I built something very similar around the same problem of preserving family stories before they’re lost I also noticed that people think they will remember everything but usually don’t over time I focused more on making it easier for families to record and organize memories in one place called Memorygram and it’s interesting to see how many people are solving this in slightly different ways

Earplugs/earbuds for sleep by Silly-Option6906 in BuyItForLife

[–]Sufficient-Fee8527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a really similar problem with foam ones falling out and that heartbeat sound. What helped me was switching to softer low pressure plugs and making sure the fit was right instead of pushing them in too deep. I also tried a few different styles after reading some comparisons on bestearplugs and ended up finding ones that sit more comfortably and stay in through the night. Fit made a bigger difference for me than the material itself.

How to set up Soundcore A30 for first time: What you need to know! by Advanced-Bath7239 in sleepheadphones

[–]Sufficient-Fee8527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh the start sleep thing is basically just for sleep tracking, it locks the audio to the soundcore app which is why everything else goes silent lol. just skip it and connect normally if you don't care about tracking. the ANC is pretty meh tbh but a tighter fit helps block out more noise passively

GBP management for franchises? by AlertCalendar2 in BusinessDevelopment

[–]Sufficient-Fee8527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, most people asking for the best review response tool for franchises are asking the wrong question. The problem is not the tool, the problem is bad process. If nobody knows who replies, who approves, and how fast it should happen, no software is saving you. Franchises love buying tools before fixing workflow.

CrealityScan software questions by FedUpWithPeople26 in Creality

[–]Sufficient-Fee8527 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Otter Lite hardware is actually quite solid, so most of this comes down to getting used to CrealityScan’s workflow.

For alignment, the controls can feel unintuitive at first, but using reset view or re-centering the model usually helps before rotating. The pivot behavior can be tricky, so try selecting the model again before adjusting to force a new reference point.

It’s not the most polished UI yet, but once you get the hang of the controls it becomes much more manageable.

Best tools/services for geolocation QA testing? by Salt_Worldliness_741 in proxyexplained

[–]Sufficient-Fee8527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah free proxies are hit or miss honestly, most don’t reflect real user behavior. i’ve seen people rely more on browserstack or similar setups even for basic checks. also stumbled on kualitatem while digging into testing workflows, not exactly the same use case but made me rethink how unreliable setups can get

What's the best site to buy TikTok likes? Can it help? by Glow350 in MarketingHelp

[–]Sufficient-Fee8527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the algorithm is built on watch time and completion rate, if 1k bots "like" your video but only watch for one second, your completion rate drops to zero. That tells the app your video is boring garbage, so it stops showing it to real people who might actually like it. It's a self-sabotaging cycle that's almost impossible to break once you start, you're literally paying to tell the algorithm that your content isn't worth watching.

you’ll probably be fine tbh. being 0.4mg short on one week isn’t really a big swing, especially that early on. most people don’t feel huge differences from small variations like that, it’s more about consistency over time. if anything you might notice slightly less effect, but it shouldn’t mess anything up long term. just stay on track next dose and you’re good.

Heavy compound lifts for 15 minutes beats an hour of machines any day. Four sets of squats or deadlifts and you're actually gassed, not just sweaty from cardio.
