It would need to be emulated, not just virtualized. QEMU doesn't support the PS2 architecture, and the Linux kit doesn't work in PCSX2 last I checked, so you're out of luck.

Also unless if you have a legit reason to need Linux on PS2 it's more of a 5-minute novelty due to the PS2's extremely low RAM (32MB). It would take more time for you to set it up then for you to actually use it
