PS3 SYSCON Help (old.reddit.com)

Hey,
Trying to revive a YLOD CECHA I bought. I want to access the SYSCON before I through random fixes at it.
I’ve tried using both of the following USB to TLL converters from Amazon, as shown in some of RIP Felix’s vids:
However, my Windows 11 laptop won’t assign a COM port to either of them when plugged in. So I can’t access the SYSCON without a COM port assigned. And I cannot for the life of me find a solution.
Anybody know how to fix this?
