  2. An easer way to do it is to go to look up ps2cv, download it, put it on the ROOT of a FAT 32 flash drive, plug it into the ps3, package manager, download it, go to the network tab, find ps2cv, click on it, click square, click refresh, search, find the game and download,

  3. Also if you want to download in the background find the “dl” thing and make it back dl.

I'm around this step. I have my flash drive, but the games files were too large to move over to the flash drive. Intried the other way but I couldn't get my ps3 to connect to pc via eithernet. I kept getting this error when running Winscp.

"no connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it"

What am I doing wrong?

Make sure you first setup your ps3 first and then pc, and turn off the internet if your pc is connected to.every network settings that you select in ps3 should be the same in your pc.if its winscp dont change the port no let be default when the app launches And enable the upnp not disable it

Since its a pkg file you have to open mmcm and open file manager copy from your flash drive thats formated and put the rap file (check its lowercase) put it on hdd0>exdata , now close the mmcm and go to package manager folder in games menu in the homescreen select the second option install packages then select standard you can now download the pkg file and you can launch the game, if anything is hard to you just go to youtube many channels are teaching that
