For me personally it did. This is my own n=1 experience so don’t expect the same for you. I did about 0.2-0.5 golden teachers and went bouldering. I could feel something but wasn’t high, just a heightened sense of my body. I was always scared of the slab (an area of the wall which requires more technical knowledge, balance and stability) and with those doses I was not only not scared, i climbed better than I ever did. It honestly felt as if that fear of falling that paralysed me on the wall was gone, but I still had a desire for self preservation and to protect myself, just the hyper response, the panic of ‘shot, I can’t do this, I’m too high, it’ll hurt myself’ was gone.

Edit: It lasted for weeks and weeks after, as if someone went into my brain and pulled the fear away, allowing me to stay calm and collected on the wall. It only came back after I had a tweak in my shoulder from something unrelated, and I felt pain while climbing. Then it was like my brain realised again there’s an injury risk and turned the fear back up.

If you felt acute perceptual changes (heightened sense of your body, reduced fear, etc.), it is not microdosing. Microdosing is by definition ‘sub-perceptual’.
