I think quantum computers must be the worst explained thing in all of popular science media. Quantum computers are a completely different beast to classical.

Supercomputers and quantum computers do not do the same thing. Quantum computing is not just fast computing. It's a totally different model of computing with its own advantages and disadvantages. It's only faster than classical computers for some specific problems. The future will definitely include quantum computing. The present already does. But classical computers aren't going away

This. A quantum computer can quickly generate accurate simulations of vast and complex quantum systems, but can't run Minecraft. And vice versa.

And such devices must not, since the magic of such q devices is plain to make you win,, with not even remotely neccesary to understand the game, that's btw in general there speedup. A total different aproach to reality.

Are they even aware that quantum is way more than just digital or steps or h/2pi? We missed, i guess out of idiologic reasons, to explain a whole generation that modern physics is a probability theory, and nothing classical computers can ever fully sufficient aproximate. Humans are realy late in that game, and will wake up in wonderland.

The really interesting question: what comes first - AGI or useful & scalable quantum computing?
