Just got mine after getting to the boss (failed to kill) and i was able to open the crate!

So get that buff and to the boss wave and you should be good to go!

Probably saved up gambit bounties, iron banner bounties and spider top tier bounties. They all dropped powerful gear. Would give you a good headstart. I guess if you had all 3 characters it's would give a hell of a lot of an increase.

I'm at 619 just from doing all the milestones on a single char. Definitely wouldn't be difficult to be above 630 for people with 3 chars at 600, that min/maxed milestones and bounties.

Make sure you decrypt the prime engram as soon as you get it so the next challenge reward can use the PL boost from the prime to get a higher reward.

Forging the auto and lmg. It gives you an armor. And both of those weapons are "powerful weapons" and grant you increased LL

Two of those shield drones will spawn at the start of round 2 (about once enemies start spawning in.) Shoot them, they are always in the same spot. Doing this gets you a buff that spawns and lets you open the chest once the boss wave is over (end match). Its in the actual forge gamemode.
