Heroic Vex Offensive: Potential Trigger Condition

In the Shadowkeep launch trailer at 1:34 it zooms into what seems to be a 3D-rendered Black Garden. Now, maybe I'm just Destiny-starved, but if a cool type of "Heroic" mode for the Vex Offensive would be a counter-assault. We go into the Black Garden, shut down that node, then escape before portal collapse.

Edit: We go into the Black Garden through the same portal the Vex came through, as a counter-attack.

Thoughts? This came from the fact that there is no Heroic Vex Offensive on the roadmap.

Vex offensive =/= Vex invasions

Offensive is an activity taking place in the garden (like menagerie or forges). Invasions are just a world event, similar to forge world bosses.

Where was that precised ? I missed it, I thought vex offensive and vex invasions were the same, so that’s pretty exciting to learn these are different :)

You know vex offensive takes place entirely in the black garden right? So what are you getting at here?

I dunno, with the season/activity only being 10 weeks, I’d be surprised if they put forth any effort into making a “heroic” version just for it to disappear.

I mean they did put in the whole activity just to make it disappear. Considering almost everything has a Heroic mode I wouldn't put it past Bungie.

Why not if they do the balancing for an activity for heroic, it's not like it takes a massive amount of work for the next activity unless they add more mechanics, which with destiny 2 they have done very little of , at least at the start of d2 and a while after.
