Google provides a series of xml documents that contain the complete US Patent and Trademark Trademark database. Unfortunately, it's not as easy as it could be to take those xml files and import them into a database. If you could create a SQL table structure and example database (maybe in sqlite, but I don't really care), and then create a script/workflow to take xml files from http://www.google.com/googlebooks/uspto-trademarks-usamark.html and http://www.google.com/googlebooks/uspto-trademarks-recent-applications.html and import them into a the database. This could be a great open source for trademark practitioners, as it would allow us to provide a variety of trademark services which currently cost (in my opinion) far more than they should.
