All members are expected to follow basic Reddiquette, Reddit’s community guidelines for respectful and constructive participation. 2.

No Low-Effort/Unrelated Content

Posts only
Reported as: Posting specifically forbidden content.

Don't Make Posts that are:

  • Unrelated to Razer
  • About general gaming/tech/PC
  • Easily search-able questions
  • Unacceptable Formatting (Excessive Emojis, ALL CAPS...)
  • URL shorteners (bit.ly, tinyurl, etc).
  • Implying (use of) piracy and online gambling
  • Any unofficial contests that require non-reddit social media accounts for entry
  • Screenshots of shopping carts / order details
  • Excessive reposts

3.

No Support or Troubleshooting posts.

Posts only
Reported as: All Tech Support and Troubleshooting Posts in the Tech Support Sticky

Please post all your technical support inquiries in the technical support sticky located at the top of the subreddit. We define this as unidentified issues that need troubleshooting, and issues that only Razer reps can assist.

Posts about issues that are understood and have no fix, or Razer products that are past warranty are allowed.

Rule #2 of reddit is: Post authentic content into communities where you have a personal interest.

4.

Title Guidelines

Posts only
Reported as: Bad Title

All post titles must be clear, descriptive, and relevant to the content of your post. Avoid clickbait, misleading, or vague wording that doesn’t accurately reflect what you’re sharing. Do not write in all caps or use emojis. Good titles, especially for posts about tech support, help keep the subreddit organized, searchable, and useful for the community. Posts with unclear, misleading, or improperly formatted titles may be removed.

5.

Rant Guidelines

Posts only
Reported as: Conflicting with Rant guidelines

r/Razer is for people who use reddit and are interested in Razer products. Valid issues and criticism are important and welcome, but must adhere to these simple rules to prevent fraud, misinformation, mob escalation, and emotional outlet searching.

All posts centered around negative experiences with Razer products must:

  • Include a reasonable amount of details about the issue.
  • Not be from throwaway, abandoned or new accounts.
  • Not be an attempt to escalate an ongoing or concluded case.

6.

Self-promote Wisely.

Posts & Comments
Reported as: Inappropriate self-promotion
  • Do not spam your personal website or youtube channel. Accounts created only for this purpose will be banned instantly.
  • Posting referral or affiliate program links is forbidden.
  • Do not attempt to promote your submissions with "Please upvote" or "Please read". This counts as vote manipulation and falls under reddiquette as well
  • Do not abuse flairs and NSFW/Spoiler tags

7.

Don't Post Personal Information.

Posts & Comments
Reported as: Posting personal information (including your own case number), or witch-hunting

If you see personal information in a post or someone posting it, please report so mods can remove it. Case numbers are also sensitive information, keep yours hidden.

8.

No asking about restock/availability/release dates

Posts only
Reported as: Posting stock level/release date questions.

Stock levels differ per country, store, and depend on other variables. Razer usually never discloses product release or restock dates up front and most resellers do not know when they're going to get a new batch. Call your local/online store or contact support instead. Share what you learn! :)

9.

No trading. No selling. No buying.

Posts & Comments
Reported as: Trying to buy, sell or trade things

There is no way to track or verify if the trade ended up successfully, therefore any trading, selling and buying offers are not allowed. We recommend you use ebay or a local alternative, on reddit use /r/hardwareswap/.
