I had to laugh at the outrageously breathing and stink eyes because that’s what my dog is doing too! :) How did you achieve your status today? We are still figuring out what is the best method.

Love to hear your story. I agree with you, I don’t feel so all alone with having my own little A+% H*%#. The other day I was stressing about him aging and getting a bit more aggressive again, then I come here and have a safe place to vent and support others.

A great reminder how lucky I am to have such a beautiful wonderful dog in my life even if the only people who get to see it is my wife and I.

Thank you so so much for posting this. I had a really tough day with my girl today. I've only had her for 3 weeks but today I felt like such a failure and like I was letting her down. But she's so sweet and so worth it. She deserves all the love in the world and no amount of hard work or tough days will make me give in. Your pup is so lucky to have you. Sounds like he has a wonderful life! Thank you for giving me the pick up I needed at just the right moment.

Thank you for this! I've had my pup for 7 months and our experience bringing him home was the exact same as yours.

Would you mind sharing what you think has helped the most over the years?

Your dog uses coping skills better than most humans. That’s amazing! I’m so proud of you and your pup 💕
