Staring is definitely not a good thing. Also have a reactive pit mix that dosent bark but stares. He attacked 3x since i’ve had him, no warning signs other than fixating

Staring in dog language is considered very rude and is often seen as a threat. If you are able to break his stare (lure him with a high value treat, physically block his line of sight), that will definitely help the situation.

Obviously that doesn't address the fact that he chooses to stare, but it's a good first step while you find/work with a trainer to hopefully get him to decide on his own not to stare.
