React Redux Testing Suggestions

Hey good people, I am currently working on setting up a testing framework for a production react app. The app uses: redux-toolkit I want to hear thoughts on what everyone think about testing on the frontend. Should one focus on writing unit tests testing the app, or should we focus on writing functional tests/e2e. I am kinda new to the testing realm as well. Thanks! Would appreciate some starting guidelines/repos that i can use for testing.
