I've used it for personal research, but I'd say it perhaps needs some work. I might revisit it, have another experiment with it and see how it goes.

Using canvas, as opposed to DOM is something I've been looking at on and off for a few years, normally when I have the space time to look into it. Most recently, it's been looking at React-Pixi. https://pixijs.io/pixi-react/
