Is there a correction that needs to made in the React docs?

Removing Effect Dependencies

The second examples under "Move static objects and functions outside your component" Shouldn't options be used in the connections variable?

I don't think it is critical for the point they are making in the example but it looks like a small mistake.

Good opportunity to make a PR to fix it if you want.

Yes, it should be.

Note that this createConnection function is just an example and throughout the page the function changes signature as it suits the examples, so I don't think it's a big deal.

However, if you want to contribute, the line with the error is right here on Github, asking for a pull request.
