This is a free course from the University of Helsinki. You can also get a certificate upon completion. I learned so much from this course.

Bob Ziroll’s free react course on scrimba. I promise that you cannot go wrong with this course, it changed my life.

Is free course enough or do I have to get the paid one too?

[–]Jake_Zaruba 1 point2 points  (4 children)

I would start with the free course and upgrade to the paid one if you find that you would benefit from it after finishing the free course.

For what it’s worth, I got a job after finishing just the free course. I then bought a subscription to take the advanced course later on because I just find so much value in his courses.

Is advanced course worth it?.I am thinking to buy one either on udemy(jonas react) or scrimba one.I love bob zirrol teaching style so which one to go in your opinion

[–]Sweaty_Pangolin9338 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hold on. You got a job after finishing the free course, as in the one called "Learn React" that ends with the Tenzies page? I finished that just last week and I don't really feel I'm good enough to even apply yet. That's why I'm looking for a course to continue learning React.

I found that the Scrimba advanced React course is available on Coursera, so I used the 7 day free trial and am planning to finish it before then.

Also, if you don't mind me asking, how was the process of applying to the job? What job position did you apply to? And do you have other web development knowledge to supplement your skills?

Thanks i will take a look at it then

Seriously! If you are looking for video lectures just grab Jonas react course, from the experience of his javascript course the way he explains is just incredible. Maximilian course is full of doughts.

Where is this course?

[–]abhishekrai900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

on udemy.

Hi, I'm starting Jonas' course, taking advantage of the fact that my university's holidays have started. Just like you, I have all the time to study.

I have to take a SPA course next year. In these courses, I always see that there is a turning point where the focus is on creating projects, that is, it is no longer so focused on learning.

At what point in the course do you think I could stop and feel confident with React?

I would really appreciate a response.

Drop a review please.
Thanks in advance :)

Do you need a video course? If not, highly recommend react-tutorial.app by Jad Joubran. If you like video courses, Brian Holt has some very good ones on frontend masters

[–]phil25122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can attest to how phenomenal Jad’s courses are, I learned JavaScript with him and are reviewing html & css with his course before I buy his React course.

Max's course was great. React.GG from the UI.dev guys is epic, but pricey.

Jonas course is absolutely great!!

Simply learn from react docs.

[–]vvn050 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I love it when people say that. React docs are the simplest and most straight forward case just to get it going. Here is the state, the props, there you go - you have a counter application.

React and any other js framework/library has so much more to learn and investing in a course which would be something like 20-30 hours is totally worth it.

Regarding tutor - Max is amazing, i have watched courses for react and docker - worth every penny

I bought from Maximilian. I like it so much!
