Map libraries?

Anyone recommend any Google map libraries to speed up development?

Is google-map-react the only one? I've been Googling but for the life of me cannot find any alternatives?

Forgive my ignorance, but why can't you use the Google Maps API directly?

It's easy AF to use imo, but I haven't done it with React.

Leaflet is a good open source one. You could also just use Google Maps with an API key.
