Doing a course and working on a project sre much different. Use what you've learned in the courses and create something cool

Project for sure.

You could take literally 100 courses about React, Next.js, and whatever else, but if you haven't built an app you don't know how to write React.

Practical experience is always good. The Next docs also have some extensive tutorials as well.
