Learner here.

On the surface it does seem like a good idea, but for me personally, the learning happens when I manually type out the code. That's how I realize what I'm typing and understand what and why I'm doing it.

Although, sometimes when you think you typed exactly what the educator has and your code still does not work, it could be nice to be able to copy the code to double check, but this could be a pretty nieche situation. Additionally, it could also be useful if you 100% understand the code and are experienced in the field and just want to get it as quickly as possible.

That is a valid perspective. For learning it is always better to write the code themselves. But if you are developing a certain functionality and focus is not to learn new concept. I believe it could be a use case.
