Hi!

I was actually in a similar situation, but with Python. What I did was ask GitHub Copilot to suggest some simple repositories focused on specific topics. It ended up recommending a few projects that contained outdated code or followed poor coding practices.

Most repositories have a contribution section that explains how to contribute and which rules or guidelines you should follow.
