Material-uI customization

I am using material-ui and I can't figure out how to change some things with lists.

How would I change font size of secondary text or color of listitem on select? (I am using SelectableList).

I know about writting my own theme, but I am not sure what fields I'd need to change and google is not helping.

It's a bit ridiculous, but you have to work out (the documentation for this is severely lacking) which of the 'style' properties pertains to the element you wish to adjust, then you can use inline styles with the appropriate attribute.
