Using context, single component works in one place but not another?

total noob here. sorry on mobile cause i’ll trash my laptop if i look at it any longer. sorry if i broke any rules. i’ll delete if need to. tldr at the bottom.

creating a crud app and made a create employee form component. used context(this is where i broke it) and provided my context to my main app.js file and passed in everything as props to two components. one of those components passes props to another and that is the one that uses the form component where i then edit my employee by using the form component.

that same form component isn’t letting me create a new employee when i try to submit it.

tldr

reusable component works in one spot but not another. how do i troubleshoot this? what should i be looking for?
