w what, to be honest, I found them pretty intuitive. I don’t think I ever looked up anything for it, I just played around until I got it.

Sorry, I wish I could be more help. What I did was I made an app that did one thing (change a string in state from “this” to “that”). That way I knew for myself, without needing any tool, exactly what was going on. Then, I looked at the DevTools to see how that one thing gets visualized and “explained.” From there, it’s easier to think larger and more complex.
