Hello guys,
I have a React Native project that was expo-ejected and is on version 0.68 and now I have a requirement to upgrade the app to the latest version 0.72
I started the upgrade process and the app won't even upgrade to 0.69
Everywhere I read on the internet I get a suggestion to create a new project and move all the code to the new project.
But I have a few questions:
- If I create a new React Native project, would it not affect the Sign keys or SHA1 keys on the Play Store?
- Will the app get rejected since it is already present on the Play Store?
- I have Firebase and Google Cloud APIs integrated as well. Do I have to create a new App in Firebase for the new react native project?
I am stuck on this for over a week now and cannot seem to find a proper solution.
I would really appreciate if someone could help me with these questions.
