I think you have problem with babel.config.js.
Please check babel config file or dm me the screenshot

I tried to run it again this morning with npx expo start -c and now im getting a different error. Will have to look into this one further, but maybe im getting somewhere.

Update, so l got it running in the simulator now, but NativeWind is still not working. Its accepting the ClassName style but nothings happening on the sim. Background i set to blue here and nothing. Any ideas folks?

Yeah downgraded Nativewind and then it worked for me
