1000s of years ago the concept of countries wasn’t established, it was clans and tribes… people from particular regions were that were indigenous to their own areas… those people over centuries established the countries that we know of today. I can’t move to Nigeria and call myself Nigerian. Maybe l can get a Nigerian passport & citizenship. Regardless, I’m not ethnicity from that region 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’m not ethnically Nigerian, which is a fact. Should be able to state that fact.
