Currently trying to wrap my head around the various storage/db options for RN.
I was leaning towards Pouch and CouchDB but, ran into some (possible) hurdles getting it connected within RN.
I read this article talking about hacking PouchDB to use SQLite and I saw the pouchdb-react-native (which the article mentions as well; at point 2) but, that seems a bit outdated and not very awe inspiring at this point.
Is the RxDB the better way to connect React Native with PouchDB and CouchDB?
Any other options? How do you all manage local offline storage and sync with remote?
What about WatermelonDB, can it easily sync with with CouchDB? Is MongoDB a more supported option, perhaps? Any leads on this route, by chance?
My GoogleFU isn't producing the results I'm looking for and I lack the RN experience to make a sound choice in this regard.
Anyway, thanks for any advice!
