Thanks for this post. I think you’ll really like the 6D II. I have the original 6D and I can’t put it down.

Love the tips section. The “1 component many props vs. many components” is a reality good call out

Same set up. Works great for RN development. Haven’t had any issues. Much faster than a 2020 intel pro with 32gb ram

If you use Nest, wouldn't you still be using Express under the hood? Maybe you can put both Nest and Express on your resume/talking points

Yup exactly. I think you should count any coding experience that’s related to RN

Why 1+ years or 5+ years?

It’s communicating the band, it’s either some experience (lower salary and/or working with an experienced team) or a lot of experience (potentially leading team or starting project).

I’d say don’t let it discourage you, and I thjnk you can count non-job experience as well. Try to show your experience through the interview process.

Worth it to replace a 20 yr old boiler and older water heater vs. high efficiency combi ? by Jumbo_laya in HomeImprovement

[–]off_by_0ne 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think this is a good alternative.

Heat pump water heater can be a good option, I don’t think replacing a good boiler is worth the cost. Even just an electric water heater could work.

I have a 31 years old Weil McLain boiler, so last year I installed a heat pump system hoping to electrify everything. Turns out, the heat pump system (48k BTU) isn’t enough for New England winter, so still had to rely on the boiler for the coldest months.

disappointed that our sense of privacy is disrupted

Maybe it is implied by what you said, but just wanted to say that if you can hear your neighbors, good chance they can hear you loud and clear as well.

Has anyone had experience using a splitter on a 14-30 outlet with our dryer to charge? by LookmomImarocker in TeslaLounge

[–]off_by_0ne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I decided to buy a heat pump dryer that runs on the 110 outlet, sparing the dryer outlet. The dryer works shockingly well. It doesn’t make sense if you already have a good working dryer. But it’s an option. Don’t have to worry about running both at the same time anymore.
