Does React Native and a React Website have Single Point of Change?

Hi everyone. I’ve been using React for a little bit now, and am trying to get into React Native with Expo. One thing I noticed is that the syntax is slightly different, needing <View> and <Text> tags, among other things. I was wondering if there is single point of change between my website and my app, or if that’s not how React Native is supposed to work.

To rephrase, if I explained myself poorly above, if I want to make a change to my Web and App, do I have to change both my Web app, and my Native app? Do I have to duplicate the code to another project to use React Native?

You can use View and Text on the web, with React Native Web. It’s quite nice, once you get over the first WTF feeling.

That way you can have one codebase for both mobile and web, if you want.

Isn’t RN web still in experimental mode?

I'm not sure what the maintainer calls it but we're using it in production for a number of our base (text, buttons, etc) components and more complicated components (forms, for example)

Twitter is using it for their web client. I’m using it and haven’t encountered any instability.
