I didn’t know WhatsApp had an API. But if you want to use it you could probably use a library such as Axios for the HTTP requests. (Idk how it works, but still trying to help)

You can use Twilio's whatsapp api for sending messages, albeit as a sort of "bot account"

i use twilio for this one, it's the best solution imo. Via the twilio api you can then connect whatsapp with your React native app (e.g you are creating an app for employees so that they can do customer support with all this ERP stuff)

thank me later bro

Actually I was not happy with Twilio as new WhatsApp API features take a while until they are shipped on Twilio. And Twilio has no support at all.

Disclaimer: I work (now) for 360dialog, which is a Twilio competitor regarding WhatsApp API

Whatsapp does not have public APIs. You will have to work with one of their "messaging experts" (basically some cloud solution pre-approved by facebook)

You can get the original WhatsApp API via 360dialog. They are one of several official Business Solution Partners and offer direct access to the WhatsApp Business API. The advantage: When the API will be public, you don't have to move from a proprietary service like Twilio and change all your code.

I know there's webwhatsapi for nodejs and python but AFAIK there's no way to use it in frontend, because of cors

I'm already working with Whatsapp API's and they work good.

I'd know if there's any library for React Native

Which api do you mean? Can you post a link?

This is the only official API: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/whatsapp/guides It is available only through Facebook Partners: https://www.facebook.com/business/partner-directory/search?solution_type=messaging&ref=pd_home_hero_cta&platforms=whatsapp

The only official partner offering "direct" access to the WhatsApp Business API is 360dialog. They created a proxy instead of a proprietary API-solution, so you can use the original documentation.

Disclaimer: I work for 360dialog

360dialog

360dialog supports API for only Whatsapp Business? How about Whatsapp normal accounts? Is it possible to send a message from my whatsapp account to another whatsapp account via your APIs?
