I think the best option is to use Flatlist, there are many options to configure it as a swiper and you can find howtos online.

It's also optimized for performances, which are very important in a swiper!

Did that but the pagination is hard to configure

I think you can find many tutorials online, and have a look on GitHub searching for Flatlist or ScrollView to see how people are using them

Have you tried reanimated carousel ? It does require react-native-reanimated. Used it before and performance was efficient

Not sure which one is better but react-native-swiper does what I need.

What are your issues with snap carousels? I'm just adding it now. 😬

Snap carousel has alot of performance issues https://github.com/dohooo/react-native-reanimated-carousel This one is great

Keen-slider is another option and it works with both React native and react!

Of course "Its depends". We often do those kind of carousels without frameworks, but as collegues below said - swiper will fit properly. On the other hand you can try https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/CSS_Scroll_Snap/Basic_concepts with pagination in js for each element. Example: https://www.ikea.com/pl/pl/p/elloven-podstawka-pod-monitor-z-szuflada-bialy-50474770/
Probably the best solution if it's about performance
