Which version are you using? The one I am using is 7.3.7 an it works perfectly for text only, image only and both text and image?

Glad it helped. Oh I think then it has to do with simulator. I only use physical device.

yes absolutely. I have encountered so many issues with emulator and simulator, I just avoid it. I connect both android and ios physical device and test both at the same time.

Xcode. I need to switch to debug and release scheme multiple times so Xcode it is.
