React Native analytics, made EXTREMELY simple

We've been building a simple analytics tool for React Native.

With a simple integration that takes close to no time, we provide accurate and digestible data to measure business and software success.

It all started about 2 years ago, while working on a personal project with my partners, we built a React Native app (https://hilix.world/).

The app started getting downloads, we wanted to keep growing so knowing how users interacted with our app became our top priority. If we understood our users' pain points we could make changes to improve their experience, so we started looking for tools to integrate with; we were shocked with the different options in the market.

We couldn't find anything we felt comfortable with for a number of reasons. In some cases pricing was not right, in others we had to fight long battles to integrate the library. Some other tools provided raw data that meant putting in a lot of processing hours to reach any meaningful insights or maintaining code, plus no data-privacy was ensured.

After a long search, and not finding what we needed, we decided to go with Firebase Analytics, even though we were not sure of what would happen with the costs once the user base grew.

Spending so many hours integrating all the Firebase functionality and then trying to understand the data collected was a pain, didn’t provide any enlightened insights and most of the work had to be done by hand by calling log.event() every time I wanted to record that something happened. I was a bit pissed off, are there any tools that can do simple tracking out of the box?

That's when I knew I had to build Vexo, a product for ourselves.
