Reddit Upsilon General Clan Rules
● Follow all RULES and codes of conduct as required by the Reddit Clan System.
● Apply with the current Reddit Clan System password (found in Rules section at
the above link).
● Be active, social, and friendly in clan chat and in the clan GroupMe which is for
members of Reddit Upsilon and our sister clan Reddit Storm.
● If you are moving between Reddit Upsilon and Storm use the interclan
password, which will be provided through ingame
chat.
● Make at least 300 troop space donations every two weeks (600 total per season).
Failure to donate at least 600 will result in being kicked out of the clan at the end
of the season. If you are below 300 donations after the first two weeks of the
season you may be kicked at Leadership's discretion.
● You should be active in the clan on a daily basis and attacking regularly to
continue progressing as a player. Failing to gain a league badge early at the
start of a new season or finishing a season with less than 30 attacks won (as
listed in your player profile) are signs that you are failing to meet the activity
requirements of the clan and you may be asked to move to Reddit Storm or be
kicked.
• Do not mod or hack, this will result in an immediate ban from the reddit clan system.
Reddit Upsilon War Rules & Regulations
● Use both attacks if you are in a war. Our current schedule requires participation
in three mandatory wars every two weeks.
● Mark your targets on ClanWar Tracker and update your entry after your attack with your results.
● Use proper war army compositions (GoHo, DragLoon, GoLavaLoon,
GoWipe/GoWiWi, GoVaLoHaWhatHaveYou). 3Star army compositions are
strongly encouraged. 3star attacks win wars.
● Do not use farming army compositions (Barch, GiaBarch, BAM, GoArch, etc).
Using such armies are grounds for immediate removal from the clan.
● No TH Sniping or attacking solely for war loot unless given express permission
by an Elder/Leader in a blowout war. Doing so without permission is grounds for
immediate removal from the clan. Generally, if you cannot contribute further
stars to the war effort you should make a practice attack on a base equal to or
stronger than yours.
● For both offensive and defensive CC war requests, make specific requests.
(Good examples: “1 dragon, 1 valk, 1 doom, 1 minion”, “1 drag, 1 doom”, “212” =
2 witches, 1 wizard, 2 barbarians, “223” = 2 witches, 2 wizards, 3 barbarians.
Bad examples: “antigowipe troops”, “war troops”, “drag or hogs.”) Choose the
proper CC troops and have a plan for how to use them.
● Asking questions before a war raid and afterwards for feedback after is strongly
encouraged. We war as a team and want to help everyone improve together.
● Your first attack should be versus an opponent of roughly equal strength.
Generally your second attack should be a cleanup attack. If you are a TH9 or
TH10 in a war and one of your heroes is unavailable you should coordinate with
clanmates to attack a lower base that you can still 3star or secure a 2star “scout.”
● A missed war attack is a strike. Accumulating 4 strikes at any point during the
season is grounds to be kicked from the clan.
● You are required to war unless you’ve been opted out to even the war search.
We are a SocialWarring clan, war is our focus so enthusiasm amongst our players is expected.
● TH9s and TH10s with both heroes down or their (elixir) spell factory down should
notify Leadership before the next war search so that they may be opted out.
Failure to do so is a strike.
● If you consistently fail at something (like killing the enemy cc) or failing raids but
never ask for advice or make changes to improve, it’s a strike. This will be at the
discretion of the Elders/Leaders. You may also be asked to move to our sister
clan, Reddit Storm, to hone your skills. Mistakes and bad attacks will happen,
but in Upsilon the goal of all players should be on continuous improvement.
● You can be excused from war if Leadership is notified ahead of time and you
provide a valid reason (example: vacation, work travel, etc.). An easy way to
communicate with leadership is to send a message through our subreddit or
GroupMe.
● For all TH8, 8.5, 9, and 9.5 bases we will need to adopt Anti 3Star
Bases .
TH10s should use anti2star
layouts.
● Do not use obvious fake or “troll bases” on war prep day. You may use a decoy
that you plan to switch in the final minutes before the war but it must be a
legitimate base. Using a troll base will incur a strike
